Fetch.ai Releases Public TestNet

The development marks a major milestone for the Fetch project, which provides an intelligent, automated marketplace for data and ideas.

Fetch.ai has launched its public test network, giving everyone access to the platform and enabling them to use and experiment with Fetch’s functionality.

Open Economic Framework

Fetch is one of the big success stories of the year, launching its blockchain marketplace for a new digital economy, powered by ‘autonomous economic agents’ that operate individually or in parallel to seek out the data they require and even interact to solve complex tasks. The platform is an ‘open economic framework for real and unreal estate’, which offers to connect humans, their ideas and their data efficiently and securely via AI-enabled agents.

The recent release provides several key features and developments:

  • Decentralised search for Agents
  • 20,000 source code changes on the GitHub repository
  • A web-based ‘write, click and run’ interface to the Fetch.AI Virtual Machine
  • An update to Etch, Fetch’s unique smart contract language
  • A block explorer and a TestNet status page.

Second ever Binance IEO

Fetch.ai was one of the earliest and most successful IEOs to be held on Binance, raising its target funding of $6 million in just 22 seconds in February. The project’s team of 32 are now working to deliver the promised features and new economic model the platform offers.

The Fetch team will be attending Consensus 2019 in New York. This is a major annual event for the crypto community, bringing together some of the biggest projects and names in the blockchain space. It has traditionally been an opportunity for blockchain companies to unveil new technology and make big announcements. Fetch’s CTO Toby Simpson will be part of a panel discussing Exchange Growth Tactics.
